Our company has a global presence and we are doing business all over the world. We have distributors for our products in each and every major cities and it is a practice of the company to asses those distributors in terms of the volume of business they have done yearly. We have a very good distributor at Venice, whom we used to refer as merchant of Venice. He was so smart in business that he used to top in the assessment of the company. When he became the number one distributor for the third consecutive time, company has invited him to our head quarters and facilitated him. As reciprocation, he extended a warm welcome to three of us to Venice. We accepted the invitation gladly and prepared for our trips. According to him, he will provide us the accommodation and transport facilities at Venice and rest everything we had to bear. Hence, we started searching for cheap flights to Venice.
We have approached almost all agents in our city who offers low fares and try to get flight tickets for cheap price. Being a major city in Europe, all major airlines from our region such as Korean Air and Philippines Airlines are plying flights to Venice. Hence there was no difficulty in getting cheap tickets to Venice and we started our trip as decided.
The city has turned to be favorite tourist spot and the main attraction here is the waterways which pass through the city. Boating through these canals is a thrilling experience. The canals are not so wide and hence we can see the city life while traveling on boats. We really enjoyed one such boating when we traveled in one fine evening. The last rays of the sun was about to bid adieu and the sky was red. The moments before the darkness was quite beautiful and we all enjoyed each and every segments of that moment.
On the second day of our arrival, our distributor has arranged a dinner to honor us. It has been arranged in a good restaurant and about twenty people including his friends and family were present on the occasion. The dinner was quite good as the traditional food served was so delicious and the drinks were also of good quality. Our host was such a jovial person that all the guests have enjoyed the dinner with joy.

Venice has a strong cultural heritage also to its credit. The Museums situated in the city display the symbols of rich past. The night life also good here with a lot of night clubs that serves food and drinks even at midnight and the activities may last till early mornings too. We have enjoyed a few steps in one such night club. Thus we enjoyed our life over there thanks to our beloved Merchant of Venice.
