I love to travel, and this is the reason, I never miss any chance of traveling to an exotic destination. Trip to Puerto Rico was not a planned one. It just came as a surprise to me. I had been very busy in my job and desperately looking for a chance to take a break and visit some beautiful city. One day, my boss called me to say that I had to leave for Puerto Rico for some business meeting immediately. Though, I was going on an official trip, I embraced this opportunity as a God send. My travel arrangements were done by the travel department at a break neck speed as there was very little time left in the day I had to leave. These days, cheap airline flights, are also plying their services to this destination. Travel people were trying their level best to book cheap tickets on any of the several flights to Puerto Rico like Air France. At last, bookings were done, and I was set for my sojourn.
I was simultaneously getting ready for the important meeting I had to attend and also, accumulating information about this beautiful destination. I had heard a lot about this city and the myriad attractions it offers. I was really keen to visit all of them depending on how much time I could take out from my busy schedule. Since, I had not traveled for quite some time because of my job constrains and other issues, I looked forward to spend some time in solitude, in a distant place. Finally, the day arrived, when I was off to this lovely destination. Cheap tickets to Puerto Rico were booked for me.
Once I reached this city I got terribly busy in a whirlwind of activities waiting for me. The whole day, I was in and out from my meetings. Come evening, I heaved a sigh of relief when the meetings got over. On the spur of the moment, I decided to visit the famous Calypso Tropical Café about which I had heard a lot from my local colleagues. This is a beachside bar; hence, it was not unusual to see bikini clad girls nursing their drinks and swaying gently to the soft music playing in the backdrop. The ambience was informal, and the drinks were perfect. I felt relaxed after a long, tiring day. I made friends with few other expats who had also come here through cheap flights to Puerto Rico.
Next day, I visited Wet and Liquid, a popular bar serving magnificent Martinis. This watering hole is famous in the city for its cool ambience. People immediately feel totally at ease when they come here. Similarly, some other entertaining places that were high on my list were Teatro Tapia, Nuyorican Café, El Batey, La Rumba, Crash Boat Café and many more. On the last day of my trip, I tried to check out as many places as was possible. For the rest, I promised myself another visit to this beautiful city soon.
