This year, when my company decided to take our department people to Taipei for attending the annual trade fair, our excitement knew no bounds. We had heard so much about this city that we mentally started to make a list of all those prominent attractions that make this city truly unique and spectacular. Several flights ply to this destination. Our travel department started searching for best airline tickets that are not only affordable but at the same time do not compromise on the comfort of the passengers. Since, several flights to Taipei are readily available; we easily booked cheap tickets to Taipei.
As soon as our tickets were booked, we were ready for our joyride. Since a wide spectrum of tourist hot spots is available in this city, we decided to plan our itinerary in such a way that we can do justice to all the major attractions dotting the city landscape. Soon the day came, when we reached this wonderful destination. We were impressed to see the amazing skyline of the city. It was fascinating to see world’s tallest building. It spoke volumes about the architectural splendor of this destination. There are many other buildings that are famous for their stunning architecture. Moreover, we also decided to visit some of the prominent museums and art galleries located in the city. Some of us were very interested to know about the rich past, culture and heritage of this place and the exhibits displayed in the museums shed some light on the same.
Many of us also wanted to shop around for some knick knacks and souvenirs to take back home for our near and dear ones. There were several shopping malls, stores, boutiques and many shops that sell affordable wares. We had so many options that it was difficult to choose from them. Many shops also offered a fusion of Chinese folk culture and some products from Taiwan folk cultures.
We also visited some buildings that dated back to 16th and 17th century. Truly magnificent, these buildings are a work of art.
