Last year I had the opportunity to visit the beautiful Rio de Janeiro for a vacation with my friends. We decided to visit this place since we had heard so many wonderful things about this place. And we had to see this beautiful city from our own eyes. However the most important task was finding cheap airline flights. One can book them in advance so that you get cheap tickets. The Flights to Rio de Janeiro are from all international airports. It is advisable to book tickets before the holiday season so that one can get cheap flights to Rio de Janeiro. You could also get in touch with a travel agent who can get you cheap tickets to Rio de Janeiro on Air France.
The night life here is simply amazing. There are chic lounges to visit. For the sophisticated ones there are great fine dine restaurants that have amazing food. I visited quite a few of the lounges here with my colleges after work. We ate delicious food and heard great music. I visited a few malls here as well for shopping. I was amazed with the variety of brands this place has. Being a girl I managed to shop quite a bit for my family and me. One day we even went to see an art exhibition. It was a very different experience since I had never been to one in my life.
The entire city was so alive and full of energy. People stayed up partying all night, the city looked very festive. We were very lucky to witness this great event. We even visited one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer. It was a breath taking sight I must say. The next on the list was a visit to Maraca stadium which happens to be one of the biggest football stadiums in the entire world. My trip here was truly a memorable one. We all had so much of fun. The city has so much to do that one is never bored. In fact there are so many options to choose from in terms of entertainment that you could actually be in perplexed state of mind. There were so many different restaurants and street cafes to choose from.
The best way to enjoy the experience of any city is by enjoying its local flavors. That is exactly what I did. I went all over the streets of Rio trying out the local foods and interacting with the people. The people here are very kind hearted I must say. I visited several museums here as well. They were very modern in approach and design. The architecture here is very modern and colossal. It has a slight colonial touch to it. It was great experience learning about the history, tradition and culture of this place.
