My friends decide to give me surprise for my birthday. They planned a vacation for me and my few other friends to Tokyo for a week. My joy knew no bounds when I got the surprise. I had always wanted to visit this place since a very long time. It is one of the largest city in Japan and the capital city as well. It is the fashion capital of the east. It is one the internal metropolis city that is famous all over the world. The minute our plane landed I knew that my vacation would be entertaining. I did not want to waste even a second of my precious time and wanted to make the most of my trip here. It is an amazing city to visit for a vacation with your loved ones. There are so many places that one can visit. I was perplexed as to what place to visit and what to leave out. The entire city screams of a rich culture and heritage.
The city though is very modern and contemporary yet it has a hint of an old world charm in it. This makes it all the more amazing. The skyline of the city is adorned with huge buildings and skyscrapers which are indicative of the progress the city has made in a short span of time. We visited many shrines and pagodas. It helped us to understand the history and culture of the city well. The Japanese are very courteous people I must say. I happened to attend a Japanese tea ceremony which is an integral part of their culture. It was a breathtaking experience I must say.

There is so much to explore in this city .The city has a very spiritual feel to it. You will find beautiful architectural structures here. The city had me mesmerized. There is so much in terms of entertainment here that we did not get bored at all. I wish that I get the chance to visit this place again for a longer time though.
