Aruba of the Lesser Antilles is an island of the south Caribbean Sea which measures 33 Km long and 27 Km in north of Venezuela Coast. The combination of two more islands that is Curacao and Bonaire with Aruba forms an island group which is known as ABC islands. It is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The climate of Aruba is dry and has an arid land with cactus spread over. The island covers land area of 179 sq km and population of more than one hundred thousand inhabitants. The best thing about this island is its wonderful blend of natural settings and monuments that hold unusual yet interesting attractions.

Aruba Butterfly Farm

The Numismatic Museum

The Numismatic Museum boasts a large number of collections of money and coins from different countries globally. This museum was established in the year 1981 which has private set of Mr. J. Mario Odor. It is the first museum of Aruba that contains more than 35,000 pieces from around 400 countries. The museum has wide range of collections from medals to primitive pieces. There are 115 incredible collections to explore.

Arikok National Park

It is a well known wildlife park that holds around 20 percent of the island. It reflects the island’s natural habitat as well as cultural heritage. One needs to visit the information center to get details about coffee houses, locations of restrooms, others shops and facilities. Enjoy the excursions through trails and walking paths. This beautiful park is one of the top destinations in the island and houses gold mine, ancient Indian sketches, caves, and several historical places that represent the Colonial Dutch period. Alto Vista Chapel

Alto Vista Chapel is located in the hills towards the north coast of the sea which is also called as Pilgrims Church. This monument is painted with stark yellow eye catching bright color where religious people widely get attracted.  This church was built completely in the year 1952. It is stated that the people of Aruba or Aruban Indians were converted into Christians.

Ayo Rock Formations

It is a mysterious formation of rocks at Ayo and Casibari, lies at the northwest of Hooiberg. The presence of this rock formation that looks like boulders are still unexplained by the Geologists as the rock does not match the geological pattern of Aruba. However, when you visit the top of these boulders, a magnificent view of the countryside will please you. It is surrounded by the tranquil ambiance, untouched by the heavy crowd. Often you can find Cobalt Blue or Blue-grey lizards wandering around.
