We had a fabulous vacation here. We visited several clubs and let our hair down and had a fab time partying till the crack of dawn. We spent hours on the beach enjoying a drink and watching the crowds go by. Since we all friends are particularly fond of history we visited the famous National History Museum. It was a breath taking experience. The museum houses over 28,000 artifacts collected from all over the world. It was a terrific chance to learn about the history of the place. We visited the Ipanema and Copacabana beaches here. We had a fantastic time taking part in different water sports. The weather was perfect, a little warm and sunny during the day but pleasant and chilly in the evenings.
We were just in time for the famous carnival which is held every year to welcome spring. It was one of the liveliest celebrations that I had ever seen in my life. The entire city was so alive and full of energy. People stayed up partying all night, the city looked decidedly festive. We were extremely lucky to witness this extraordinary event. We even visited one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer. It was a breath taking sight I must say. The next on the list was a visit to Maracana Stadium that happens to be one of the biggest football stadiums in the entire world. My trip here was truly a memorable one. We all had so much of the fun. The city has so much to do that one is never bored. In fact, there are so many options to choose from in terms of entertainment that you could actually be in perplexed state of mind.
